Summer Reading - Suggestion for Word Lists and Worksheets

Preparing materials for summer reading? Take any book and create a word list from the reading material using Vocabulary Worksheet Factory. Then create some quick worksheets to reinforce the book's vocabulary.

In the following pictures and attached worksheet & key you can see how I identified ten words from the first three chapters of Because of Winn Dixie. I then made a single page worksheet with some variety - a multiple choice activity and a word search. I can now make additional worksheets easily with the saved the word list.
