Some AI Help - Spring Word List
With some AI help and Vocabulary Worksheet Factory, I was able to easily create a spring-themed word list. With that word list, I was able to quickly create a document with a study sheet, word search, crossword and jumbles activity.
Here is the delimited text file I imported to the Word List editor in the Vocabulary program; the four-page worksheet I created (you will need at least the Basic edition of Vocabulary WF to work effectively with the worksheet file); and the Vocabulary document and key in PDF format:
I started with an AI tool; this is what I asked for :

Once the word list appeared, I asked the AI tool to format the words and clues to delimited text format using the Pipe - | - so it could be imported to the Vocabulary program:

Even with the typo (I meant text not test !!), the AI tool quickly formatted the word list with clues using the Pipe delimiter. (NOTE: The Vocabulary program can handle other delimiters like Tab, but I like the Pipe because I can quickly see if the material is formatted correctly.)

The AI tool had a convenient copy feature. I copied the formatted text and pasted it into the NotePad program (a free text-only program available with Windows) and saved the word list data to a .txt file. That delimited text file could then be imported to the Vocabulary program.
The picture below shows the Word List editor. I clicked Import List. I could Open the saved text file; the File Preview showed the word list data. The picture shows the settings I used for the import process, including selecting Pipe as the Delimiter. I finally clicked Import and my words and clues filed a New blank word list grid.

I saved the spring-themed word list, closed the Word List editor, and quickly created a four page Vocabulary document with a Study Sheet, Word Search, Crossword and Jumbles activity.

By combining the power of an AI tool and Vocabulary Worksheet Factory, spelling and word meaning activities can be easily created to support any classroom subject.
